Chagas disease is a parasitic, systemic, and chronic condition. This disease is transmitted by vectors and caused by the protozoan Trypanosoma cruzi, which are known as kissing bugs (or in certain areas as "gaucho bug", "kissing bug", "sucker", "flying", "barbeiros" or "chipos") with a link with deficit socio-cultural aspects, being considered a neglected disease.
